
This is a great course to use as a strength building
workout, particularly as an increasing pace run.
**your best bet is to
have a friend drop you off at the start and drive up to the finish**
The first 6.5 miles are fairly flat as you
make your way down Route 85 towards the park.
As Route 85 curves strongly to the left, the climb will begin.
Be sure to turn right onto 157, and take it to the overlook where you should
have your car waiting for you.
The last 3+ miles are a true challenge as the occasional plateau is the
closest you'll get to giving your quads a break.
