DIRECTIONS TO THE University at Albany PE Building [Starting location of most group runs and Winter Series races]

GENERAL LOCATION The University at Albany is located less than two miles east of Crossgates Mall and five miles west of downtown Albany. It is bordered to the north by Washington Avenue and to the south by Western Avenue (Route 20) Its western edge is on Fuller Road, very close to the end of the Northway. To its east is the Harriman State Office Campus.   UA CAMPUS MAP - Large and in full color

The UA PE Building is located on the southern part of the campus, close to the Western Avenue entrance.

DIRECTIONS

From the Northway
Take the Northway to the END (never get off it). It ends at Western Avenue (Route 20) where you turn left. Once on Route 20, you will go through five lights (the fifth is at a fire house on right.) At the SIXTH light, turn LEFT into the University at Albany. Turn left as soon as you get onto campus, and make your first right (in 1/4m) into the parking lot. The building adjacent to the lot is the RACC or "SEFCU Arena." The PE Building is on the OTHER SIDE of the RACC. We meet in the north lobby FACING the outdoor track (by the bleachers.)

From I90 heading WEST
Take exit 1s, "Western Avenue." Follow directions above "It ends at Western Avenue..."

From I90 (Thruway) heading EAST
Take exit 24 "Albany" and stay to your RIGHT as you go through the toll booth. Immediately bare right to take exit 1s, and Follow directions above "It ends at Western Avenue..."
