The
Morning of Dodge: Setting Up!
The first wave of volunteers were
at the park shortly after 6am, intent on getting up
the tents and tarps as soon as possible. By 7am, there
was a team of over 2 dozen on hand setting up all the
different areas, including registration, kids activities,
refreshments, apparel, and ARE membership, in addition
to marking/decorating the course. It was the text-book
definition of a team effort!
While it was certainly wet, it only
added to the adrenaline rush of producing the fourth
annual Dodge the Deer 5k! |
