Bummer, No Blizzard! 3.5m NON-SNOWSHOE Race
Saturday, February 11, 2006
For the second straight year, the ARE's snowshoe race was reduced to a trail race due to... well, you can figure out why. Fortunately the course was in much better shape than last year, although a large icy patch of trail forced them to change the course two days out, adding on the extra distance.
Below are some pictures. There's even more on the way. Eventually.... when they get sent to the web dork... so send them... or else... :)

The ARE would like to thank the Guilderland HS XC team, Guilderland Elementary School, Dion Snowshoes, and HMRRC for their support.

A special thanks also goes to the many volunteers who not only helped on the course and at the event, but prepared food to share with everyone.
