New to the Albany Running Exchange website?
Our website serves two roles: to provide
information viewable by the general public as well as
to provide a members-only area.
Visitors to our homepage can access
a complete listing of race results, upcoming races,
search for places to run, as well as view pictures from
ARE events, read about our trips, and much more.
The members page hosts the significant
majority of the content on the site and is, in large
part, controlled by the members themselves. Members
can track countless statistics as well as post their
own events, sign-up for others, and find motivation.

Formed
in the fall of 2002, the Albany Running Exchange
is a unique organization based out of Albany,
NY that offers numerous daily group runs, limitless
social events that have included weekend retreats
and caribbean cruises, and an interactive members
page that promotes camaraderie and communication.
With members ranging in age from 7 to 73 and
a full spectrum of abilities, there is something
for everyone in the ARE! The ARE is proud to have
many members who live either outside of NY or
